The Health and Human Services Department published a hastily assembled report on treating child gender dysphoria with no input from pediatricians, child psychologists, or other established authorities on the subject. Their guiding assumption is that gender dysphoria is a mental illness and should be treated solely on that basis, and rejects gender affirming care. It’s a harmful joke.
