About
What Now is a series of political cartoons that are published periodically, usually twice a month, sometimes less, sometimes more. I tend to respond to events as they come, while occasionally writing about some issues that continue to dog us.
If you like these comics, please take a look at my other comics hosted at the Mooretoons domain.
Fetch is my current webcomic. Fetch is a cat, or a demon, or perhaps a demon-cat, who plagues my cartoon self. I can’t tell if he is real or a figment of my imagination. Does he come from Hell, from my subconscious mind, or from somewhere else? Tune in every Wednesday to see what new way he has found to disturb my small attempts at peace. The Otherworldly Goods story follows Fetch’s adventures in the Otherworld among his Fae kinfolk and the human child (my child!) he decided to bring with him.
In Contempt was a weekly political comic strip I drew from 2000 until 2010. It appeared in The Skanner, Z Magazine, the Portland Alliance, and several other publications. There are two print publications that collect these strips, Collateral Damage (2002) and Hope, Change and All That Crap (2009); other strips and an interview with me appear in Ted Rall’s ATTITUDE 2: The New Subversive Alternative Cartoonists (2004). This site is a developing archive of strips that ran from 1999 through 2010, as well as political cartoons I drew in the years after I folded the comic strip.
Wanderlost is the story of Sheldon, a pig prone to leaving his life on the boring old farm in pursuit of something interesting to do. This leads to adventure, misadventure and really stupid luck. Fortunately he has family and friends who do their best to save him, whether he wants saving or not.
